Tour of the David Friend Hall of Minerals

Visitors to David Friend Hall, the Peabody Museum's new gem and mineral gallery, will encounter massive, colorful, and otherworldly specimens displayed to capture their imaginations and spark their curiosity. Benjamin Zucker '62, a donor of significant materials to the collection and the author with Diana Scarisbrick of an "object-based" biography, Elihu Yale: Merchant, Collector and Patron, will give a talk to classmates and other attendees on the connections between precious stones and Yale, after which attendees will be able to explore the gallery.

University Church Worship

Join Yale’s ecumenical Christian community for Sunday worship, which will include prayers for alumni who have died, a sermon by Bill Albinger '67, and wonderful music and liturgy. Following Yale, Bill entered the Law School at the University of Pennsylvania.  His studies there were interrupted by being drafted and serving in the US Army in Vietnam.  He graduated with his JD in 1972.  After almost 30 years practicing law in New York City he went to Drew Theological School where he received his M.Div. summa cum laude in 2002.  After serving parishes in N.J and MA; he moved to Maui where he served as rector of Holy Innocents Episcopal Church, L'haina, for 10 years.  Now retired, he lives in Cambridge, MA. with his spouse Mark LeDoux, Harvard ’77.
